Default Sorry about the long wait

Ok well due to that horrible work thing my 2 week project is quickly approaching 9 months. but I have devoted this entire last week to getting this different animal back on the road and with much success I might add. And to share some tidbits to any other crazy person intending to attempt this endeavor. I finally settled on a computer from a 2002 police interceptor as it is extremely compatible and does not have the pats system in it which of coarse eliminates many headaches and if I had not already built a harness from scratch (omg) which would cut the soldiering 100 or so wires to about 15 or 20. and grab the fan from the vic as well as it is a nice 2 speed fan that you only need a couple extra relays to have a factory computer operated cooling fan system. Im including a few pics taken Saturday. and by the way the engine sounds freaking awesome even with no exhaust but its going in the morning to get the Borla two tones installed and then off to the tuners. oh and btw only problem with the interceptor computer is that it does not have imrc controls which ya might wanna consider if you plan on staying N/A which I do not hence this will not impact me. As far as the engine upgrades she got the steel crank, manley h-beam rods and manley forged pistons along with Ford racing cobra cams and it was a 98 block so thank god its already the teskid aluminum which is good to 1500 hp and if I need more than that for my daily driver well ill just cross that bridge when I come to it lol

Looking good bud. Was wondering what happened to you. Who are you using for tuning? MyFX4Project may be interested in this project also. He's doing a 4v head swap on a 5.4.

Default Lol

Well here's the sad yet funny part we have done no tuning yet but have gotten the exhaust on and has went back to my daily driver. I've had 2 dyno runs and here are the results mind you this is an un-altered 02 interceptor PCM with stock 98 mark VIII injectors and MAF and stock 98 f150 fuel pump. With imrc's closed 323 @ 4970 with them open 466 @ 5310 both are rwhp. No emissions, no cats, 91 octane and still naturally aspirated. If that sparks your interest then try to imagine 31 mpg with the imrc's closed and that's my average over 8 tanks. Makes it really hard to want to do more. Thinking about hexing
The whole sc idea.
