Default 5.4L same or different

Is the 5.4L Triton engine the exact same engine in both the 1998 F150 and the 2006 F150? If they are different, what exactly is different? Thx for helping me

98-03 is a 2 valve motor and 04-10 is a 3 valve.

Is the 2-valve 5.4 subjected to the same phaser and spark plug issues as the 3-valve 5.4?
