Default Good Engine Upgrades - To Start....

I have the 4.6 V8 in my F150 4x4 Triton Super Crew. Are there any quick and easy upgrades one can make to the engine to help with accelleration and (Dare I say) MPG?
One change I did on My other vehicle was the cold air intake and there was a PCM chip upgrade. Does anyone recommend changes like these?

Tuner, Cold Air Intake and Exhaust is always a good start. Then you have to start spending real money to get more power.

intake, exhaust, and tuner are the big 3 mods that everyone does. some other inexpensive mods that also help are UD pulleys and efans.

and a tune up. None of the "upgrades" are worth anything if the o2 sensors are filthy and worn out, the plugs are old, and the IAC is caked with carbon. Also, run some seafoam through the top end.
