Swapping out differentials from open to LS
I'm new here to the forum, and I need your help. I have a '98 F150 Lariat 5.4L with a 9.75/3.55 open differential. I hate the one-wheel-peel and it sucks going off road which I do from time to time.
So I decided I wanted to install a LSD in my truck. I chose Yukon Dura Grip and bought the 9.75 LSD and the Yukon master bearing kit for it.
I pulled the open differential out, pulled the ring gear off, and then realized the ABS Tone/Exciter ring and that there is No way to mount the ABS Tone/Exciter ring to the Yukon LSD.
So my question is what do I do for the ABS Tone/Exciter ring? Is there an aftermarket one that will work? Please help
