2016 torque converter to flexplate connection
I am replacing the engine (2.7L) in our 2016. I've got the new motor hanging from the engine hoist in the proper position and the transmission is lined up perfectly with the motor (they are about 1/2" away from each other). I've got the torque converter studs lines up with the holes on the flex plate. I have three bolts going thru the bell housing and screwed into the motor but not tight. The torque converter spins freely by hand. For the life of me, I cannot get the torque converter to slide forward so I can install the the torque converter nuts. Anyone have a trick for this?
