Default 2011 f 150 3.5 ecoboost question

I have a 2011 F 150 Lariat 4x4 and I just hit 122,000 miles. I have noticed two things that I wonder if anyone else has had happen or any suggestions. My fuel milage has gone up a couple miles a gallon for no apparent reason. My driving conditions and route are pretty much the same but where I was at about 17. 5 miles per gallon I am now about 19.7 or so. I am not complaining but curious to see if anyone else has experienced this. The real question on this vehicle is I have noticed that if it sits for a day or over night when I get in crank it and put it in gear it appears to only partially goes into drive or reverse and there is a delay ( few seconds) before it feels like and acts like it fully in gear. It will not happen again until the truck sits for a 8 plus hour period of time. I have also noticed that it takes the transmission warming up a bit before it goes to final overdrive. Usually a mile or so then no further problems until it sits a while. I have had it to the transmission shop for service filter fluid etc. and they say they can find nothing wrong but do not know why it is doing it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
