Default Intake leak diagnose with water vaccuum gauge

Back in 1989 or 90 Ford had a recall or service bulletin in which a water vaccuum gauge was used to diagnose intake gasket leakage on the 2.9L Bronco II engines. How can I find this bulletin? Better yet, anyone out there remember what I'm referring to?

Ain't that the truth about the wiggle test. What was done 20 years ago was to remove the PCV valve from the valve cover and plug the grommet. Now by first installing a pressure gauge to the dipstick tube we would see what the crankcase pressure (blow-by) is. No pressure then install the water vaccuum gauge to test for leakage of the intake gaskets. The exterrior of the intake can be tested with carb spray, its the under-side that we are checking. I just don't remember what the readings were. Normal vaccuum gauges read inches of mercury. (in. HG) The water gauges are super sensitive. (in. H2O) Any way, hope this answers your question.
