2004 rumbling sound while driving
2004 4.6 engine I have what sounds like a tire rumbling sound while driving, light but there I thought it was the aging tires as they only have about 10,000 miles left on them but as I have someone else listing to it they are saying no to tire noise, it doesn't seem like bearings as the truck only has 130,000 miles any ideas ?

Could it be the road? I have quiet roads and noisy roads around here, and in-between. I've worried about a noise then the pavement changes and it's gone. Find a quiet road or put the car up on jack stands and see if you can still hear it.

Yeah jack stands tomorrow and a closer look. I was told about two years ago to change the rear axle oil because of noise while turning, the noise went away and so did the idea.
