Default 2.7 track record

Have the 2.7's been a good engine? What can one expect to get out of one of these engines if well maintained and driven mostly highway miles and no heavy hauling.

if your looking for longevity I would say 300k depending on how many miles you drive a week. That's what I understand the dependability goal is for engineering. So should last longer with no issue. But keep in mind that's the big components. You will have sensors and such fail as all engines will. Long story short it will serve you well if you take care of it and you don't get a lemon.
