I am considering doing a engine swap on my 06’ f150 king ranch. I have a misfiring problem right now after replacing the coil and plug for the corresponding misfiring cylinder but it still is shaky, after I give the vct solenoid a try if it still is acting funky I’m ready to give up. If anyone has any insight on engine swapping such as what is needed to make it transition well from 5.4 to 6.2 I’d love to know.

i like to learn from others mistakes or knowledge, I know since they didn’t change any patterns or so that makes it a bit easier but has anyone actually made this swap? If so what was your expirience and process? Maybe there’s a simpler solution I’m missing as well.
