Power train warning light on and I'm stumped
Hey all, new here and have a question I was hoping someone could help me out with... I have an '05 XLT with the 5.4 and it's been giving me fits the past week or so.. the other day on my way home the power train warning light came on and I noticed the engine running funny such as it idles awful rough when stopped, no punch when I kick it down.. at cruising speed it floats at or just above 2000rpm with any touch of the pedal (never seemed that high before), and the cruise quit working... After scouring the wonders of the internet I came up with everything from a bad speed sensor to needing a new throttle body. So instead of wasting my time and money replacing every part under the sun I took it to a mechanic who scanned the codes and said I had a bad cam sensor... So I bought and replaced both and unhooked the battery to reset the computer. Took it for a drive and about halfway around the block it started acting up again...now I'm stumped. And getting sick of using my wife's car lol (a Dodge journey makes a **** poor work truck).. it may be worth noting that I had a Jasper motor and trans put in about 40000 miles ago (darn cam phasers)... Sorry about the long windedness and any help would be greatly appreciated

What was wrong with it and what DTC did they pull ?

It was throwing 8 different codes pointing at everything from the o2 sensors to the maf....turns out it was a bad vct solenoid that kept shorting out a fuse, #32 I think he said
