So yesterday I cleaned my maf. Followed correct procedures, undoing negative terminal, spraying with correct cleaner, letting dry, and re-installing. Now I'm noticing a little erratic transmission shifting. Coincidence? Or is this a possibility that the maf is acting up. Also I just cleaned maf for preventative maintenance. No problems before hand besides the od rough shifting that's quite common. Tranny fluid looks good as I just replaced radiator two weeks ago, with the t-cooler lines in the radiator I had to top it back off and checked fluid level/condition. Anyways it's 2000 4.6 2v with 125k.

Sorry I can't help with your problem, but I have a question. You refer to the OD shifting as a common problem. Mine does that. Is there a fix? Will it get worse, or can I just put up with it?
