Possibility of a carbureted V8 swap?
I have a 1997 with the 4.2L and the lifters are tapping. I have a few thoughts in my head on what to do and want to get some
opinions from you guys. My first thought would be to put a carbureted V8 in the truck if that is possible. My second thought
is to rebuild this engine, only if this would be a good idea. My other 2 options are to buy a used or rebuilt engine. The truck
was my dad's and I plan on keeping it for a long time if that makes any difference.
