Default Help installing a 4.2l engine

Hi All: I need some help installing a 2008 F150 4.2 l v6 in a 1997 F150.
We brought a 08 engine with 11,00 miles. The motor came with no throttle
body and is drive by wire. Any help with this instillation is much welcome.
Things like ecu, trans, throttle body, ect. The 08 is from a manual trans truck and our truck is an automatic. Thanks, Ahmad

Default 2008 F150 4.2L V6 installed in a 97 F150

Hi All: Just wanted to let you guys know that We have installed an 08 4.2L V6 with only 11,000 miles on it , in a 97 F150 the truck runs great so far. We installed a 4.6L v8 torque converter in our OEM transmission 4r70w with a new rear tail seal, front pump seal and trans. mount. We had to make our own wire harness using the OEM ecu we had to install a fuel pressure regulator with a return and pressure guage. We used push connect fuel lines which made for nice quick connections.
97 motor mounts, the OEM alt., air compresses. and throttle body with an after market spacer. We also had to fabricate a bracket to hold the throttle cable bracket. I would like to ask if anyone knows of a Ford throttle body that we can use that will fit with cable drive that the IAC val mounts on the throttle body. Thanks! Will try to post pictures soon.
