Default 2000 4.2L with P0402 code

I have a 2000 F150 4.2LV6 showing a P0402 code. I understand the likeliest fix is the DPFE sensor... where is it? does anyone have a link to pictures, remove and replace guidance, etc. ?
thanks for your time.

Look towards the front of the passengers side valve cover, rite above it,and you will see a black rectangle looking device. It is about 3" wide,1.5" tall,3/4" thick, with vacuum lines and an electrical connection running to it.It usually has 2 10mm or 8mm nuts holding it onto a bracket.Make sure you disconnect the negative battery cable upon replacing it!

thanks much!

of course, now that i have all this info, the stupid CEL has gone out. i did check the gas cap before i went to autozone to get the code read. before i left there, i checked the EGR itself, wiggled a plastic connector, but that's all. that was around 4 - i went to class at 6 and when i got out at 8, the light was out...

guess i'll wait and see if it wants to come and play anymore...

but, if it does, now i know where to find the DPFE! thanks!

yeah, that's why i had to ask for help. I'd even found a web site with a bazillion pictures of DPFE variants and still couldn't find it.

course, i could only look for a few minutes at a time before i started freezing parts of my body and had to go inside for warmth... i think i have frostbite on my b... never mind.
