I change my EB's oil about every 3,500 to 4,000. I use full synthetic and factory filter. oil is cheap I do it my self so no labor, but great peace of mind knowing my motor is protected. If I was paying someone else to do it I would probably change it every 6 to 7,000 miles.

I became friends with a shop manager at a large ford dealer. I asked him how to get maximum life.
Engine oil= 3 to 5 k max,
Transmission= This was a surprise to me!. 3k and asap if it gets hot. Flush is best. "Replacing ALL of the oil is more important than the filter"
I always use Motocraft semi synthetic oil and Motocraft filter. I feel the Motocraft filter is critical. It has a superior anti drain back valve. Without it you will have dry starts every time you fire it up. I can hear it in an instant if something else was used. I have gone back and made then change it.

2005 NW Addition Roush package 5.4 Purchased new drove 295k mi and sold for 10,000.00
2010 Lariat 5.4 purchased 2 years old with 100k mi. p has 301.5k mi. still runs strong.
2015 Lariat 3.5 EB 93K mi, just purchased have po299 both turbos

if you're running a synthetic/synthetic blend there is no reason to change earlier than your oil life indicator....um....uh....indicates. I go inside of 10% life remaining....it knows
