Alternator Replacement at 40,000 miles

I have 2017 F150 with 40,000 miles dealership tells me alternator is bad. @ $1100 to replace. Is the alternator covered in the powertrain warranty?

nope, bumper to bumper only.

Electrical part, not powertrain
