Timing chain etc
Had the timing chain etal go at 40k. Fortunately, it was warrantied but I was told that it will happen again in 40-50K. Anyone else hear this? IF this is the case, I am getting rid of the truck.

I've never heard that. I had 2011 and 2013 ecoboosts and traded them with than 50,000 miles with no problems.
What year truck do you have?

It is definitely something that is very high risk. I would trade the truck for a non-eco so that you don’t have so many things to worry about. The root cause of this is clogged up (casting slag/debris) oil flow paths to the phasers. That blocks oil flow to cam phasers which fail and stretch the chain. You had replacement parts put in, but it will fail again at that same mileage because of the clogged paths. That is not something that can be fixed. Best bet, get rid of it.
