Default Catch can engine damage

Wasn't sure how to title this but I hope it gets some attention.
My dilema and question is this. If a catch can is connected improperly, what kind of damage can/will result?
The system in question is the UPR 5024-80-1-CSS.
Here is the link to their site where the instuctions can be found. https://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst...structions.pdf
The instuctions say to;
"A" - connect the passenger side port (outlet) on the can to the intake manifold, with the check valve allowing air flow from the can to the intake manifold only.
"B" - connect the center port (inlet) on the can to the passenger side valve cover with the unchecked hose, allowing free air flow in both directions.
"C" - connect the drivers side port (outlet) to the intake tube/wide open vacuum side of the engine. This has a "T" that connects to the drivers side valve cover with an oil seperator and a line that goes to the turbo intake tube. If you are cinfused please copy and paste the link.
At any rate, after getting some service done that required connection "C" was correct but connection "A" and "C" were as follows the system to be unhooked, the mechanic incorrectly re-attched the hoses as follows;
"A" - passenger side port (outlet) on the can connected to the intake manifold with no ceck vale allowing unrestricted airflow in both directions.
"B" - center port (inlet) on the can connected to the passenger side valve cover with a check valve allowing air flow from the can to the valve cover only.
"C" - drivers side port on the can hooked up as described in the instructions.
The question is what if any problems would result from this arrangment?
I will be glad to give the details of what happened but I would first like some uninfluenced imput before I do.
Mechanics input would be greatly appreciated.
