Default 2017 3.5L EB Oil Preference

Question : what Oil would you run synthetic or continue with Standard Oil
I just bought a used 2017 to my collection with the 3.5 EB. It was one owner with 75K miles
I am wondering if it is in best interest on the EB to change over to synthetic or stay with std oil with 75K miles in mind?
I am going to add a tuner, air intake, throttle body etc like my 2015 has so that said what would everyone do?

Thanks

I use semi-syn 10-30 I believe, on my 13. 3.5 eb. Change every 10k. I have 165000 easy miles. Use is travel only. Ford dealer changes it. No complaints.

Another oil thread

10k on an oil change for a EB has been proven to be way too long. Glad it is working for you.

Thanks, but what has been proven 10k is too long? I do 80% hiway miles w max 70-72 mph at cruise. No tow or hauling. I’m very open to suggestions, especially w my high miles. What if I use full syn at a 10k change?

Good idea, I might do that based on my mileage. Likely worth it. Thanks.

Ford now specifies Full Synthetic motor oil for new F150, any turbo motor should be running Full Synthetic.

True, I run Royal Purple with a cheap oil flush/clean before the fresh batch of the good stuff goes in (@ 5k miles)
