Default Input on Rims

So I understand more about Mustangs than I do trucks. I've searched and read and read. Still want to pose the questions as no doubt many have. I just bought a 2018 and ready to buy some aftermarket rims. I'm thinking 18" with larger tires at this point but 20's are an option. I am going for a Truck look though...so thinking 18's would look better. I understand offset from the center line but not how it affects the truck. I have a leveling kit but I want to fill up the well without rubbing. Anyone school me on this? Deeply appreciate the input.

Raptor takeoffs 315/70/17s 2" level is close but no rubbing. Rim offset is 34, stock ford rims are 44
