Default f150 - 250 suspension

I have a 1992 F150 2wd(unfortunately not 4wd) I am looking to get lifted. I do construction and remodeling and there have been a few times it cannot clear a few things so we end up having to unload materials further away, so i want more clearance. On that note since I haul things in the back i want to upgrade my leaf springs. I was curious, I know a lot of things are interchangeable for years and models-is the suspension one of those as long as its still 2wd? If i buy a 250 kit for my 150, will it set up? that way i have the upgraded load capacity of a 250(minus the limit of my axil and diff compared to the 250s; which is something I might swap in the future when i get more money) During the work year this truck failed so I ended up replacing everything under the hood all at once so its guts are pretty much new again. I don't want to just buy a new truck with new problems.

No definitive answer here. It can be done but you already mentioned the weak links for all the trouble. In Chevy land, I have added leaf springs to a 1500, but it turned into a horse carriage ride. Almost needed new kidneys every time I hit a bump. Sell it for a newer 7.3 manual transmission or cummins
