I'd only suggest going with 32's if you really want a bigger tire, but you might start rubbing the front bumper and be hitting inside the wheel wells under some bumps

Its strange how the BFG's have such polar longevity reports. It seems everything from 20-25 like yours to 50K plus. I wonder if they have a huge variance in compound density when they leave the factory or something.

If you want 33's, you might be a good candidate for a small lift kit, maybe about 2.5 inches.

Thanks guys for the compliments and advice. Yeah shes pretty clean for 141K. Somebody kept it up pretty well before me and Im gonna do the same.

As for the tires the feeling Im getting is that there are way more cons than pros. All for a tire that just "looks cooler" One more inch of ground clearance wont make a lot of difference to my usual driving, and Id be putting a tire on that will make my truck work a little harder. I wouldn't think theyd be MUCH heavier but every little bit counts with tires from what I understand.

I don't really have the financial means to start modifying (although a 4 inch lift and some 33/12.50's makes for a dead sexy truck in my book)

Looks like my most reasonable option is to stick with the 31's and just put lots of energy into finding the right kind of tires for my needs.

LOl. I guess its the kind of guy I am. Trucks should be big, tall, and be able to run over stuff, cars should be low, fast, and hard to catch.

I agree fully, I love my BFG's and I run over plenty of stuff the way it is !! If you need to drive in snow I recommend the BFG's, my truck is un stoppable in the snow, I barely need my 4wheel drive! Although I wouldn't be driving that thing in the salt, waaayyy too clean!

I personally love my pro comp xmts but they aren't cheap they have a fair bit of road noise but I've only had to lock my front hubs twice once to get up a steep hill in snow then a steep hill me and my buddy had turned to muck with his topaz that later froze (anyone else hear banjos?)

But they grip well even hitting roughly a 4in deep strip of snow on a bridge at 40 didn't cause me to slip or loose traction these tires grip well, but I'm also using 35x12.50 with a 6in lift.

My duratracks grip very well in the wet condisions. I have not had any problems with hydroplaning or any steering issuse. They handle like an at on the road but perform like a mt off highway. I dont have much issues with noise either. You should clear 32's just fine. At most you may have to trim the air dam.

32x11.50 will fit fine, step up! If you're on factory wheels you may rub the radius arms, but since you already have 265s it'll be a minimal rub you won't ever notice.

33x10.50 will fit, I could throw those on my leveled 2wd no problem at all. Here it is on 31s and 15x10s

Sorry for being a little bad on the angle but it should get the point thru

I suuuuuure like the way those sit just proud of the wells. Good lookin stance. Kinda wish mine had come with a little taller gears. More options for mucking about with wheels and tires.....

Definetely will, though it might be a bit. Heck I might end up with some dedicated winter tires for Dec Jan Feb. Id be the only guy in Ga. with snow tires lol. I sure Id never hear the end of THAT from the guys at work.

I'm running 33x10.50 BFG AT's on stock wheels with just a leveling kit and wouldn't have it any other way. I put the tires on about a month before the leveling kit and had minimal rubbing. I now have no rubbing at all with the leveling kit.
