Yet ANOTHER tire question.

Yet ANOTHER tire question.
Is anybody running 33/10.50/15's on a stock 4x4? Mine came factory with the 265/75's and when its time Im thinking of going up just a tad from the 31's on it now. Maybe BFG AT's. Ive got the 15x7 wheels.
I really cant see me ever lifting or mucking about with the suspension so I thought a 33/10.50 would be a way to cheat an extra inch. I wouldn't wanna go wider though with my 3.31's. Im not even sure the extra height is such a great Idea with that gearing.
Cant for the life of me find pics or info on this setup. Seems most folks runnin 33's or bigger are lifting and like 12.50s
Im kind of a skinnier taller tire fan and don't want to lift or regear, but if going an inch taller will cause me any troubles Ill just stick to 31's
I might even get a set of AT's just for the mild winters here in Ga. I work in the mountains and we always manage to lose a couple weeks of work or so each year due to winter precip. Maybe the right set of tires could help me make some of that money back. It would be awfully far to drive on chains. Dunno. Maybe I need to research chains lol!

They should fit. BUT you might need to trim the bumper a tiny bit. I had to cut mine when i had 33x12.50s the wheels i had stuck out about an inch more than the stockers so 10.50s on stock wheels should be ok.
I ran bf a/t's for years they work great in snow unless its the packy stuff then the tread fills up and you're driving on snowballs, they seem to wear fast too.

Also i forgot to mention that the goodyear wrangler durratrack is awesome in snow and icy conditions. I run em on my 92 f-150 in 31x10.50/15 and it has a 2 inch lift up front and factory hd springs and off road package in the rear. When i need new ones im stepping up to 33's but will want to switch to 3.73 gears seeing how i only have 3.55's and am getting 18 on the highway with my 5.8 E4OD combo

Damn that's a clean truck!
I'd only suggest going with 32's if you really want a bigger tire, but you might start rubbing the front bumper and be hitting inside the wheel wells under some bumps

I would get about 20-25k out of a set of bfs.
The goodyear wranglers might be a good bet. I had good luck with good year.I ran 37" MT/Rs through a winter with a busted front axle and never had much trouble, even when they closed the highway because of the snow buildup. And the wear was good , especially fir a big mud tire, about 20k on them and stil have 3/8"+ left before they're slick.

My 95 4x4 is still running around on factory-sized 235's but I'm planning on upgrading to 265's after I finish rebuilding my suspension. I've heard from most sources that you can run up to a 32 inch tire in stock form without having to worry about rubbing, but I'm not a huge fan of big tires so I'll probably stick with 31 inchers.
If you want 33's, you might be a good candidate for a small lift kit, maybe about 2.5 inches.

Drive like you stole it
Damn man, has that thing ever been driven?? Nice truck. I am jealous. All I can say is anything bigger than 31x10.50 on your rims WILL rub. My truck had 32's on it when I got it and they rubbed at full lock so 33's are gonna hit hard.
