Default 96 ext cab pics

Just pulled this one home today. Thought I'd be going to pick up a parts truck, but I don't think so ...

What do you think so far ?

Without seeing the underside, I'd say that is an extremely clean truck. Nice find.

Underside is coated with oil 1/8" thick - it's been oil sprayed every year since new. Still paint on the frame under the oil. Not a speck of rust on the body under there anywhere. Even the rad saddle is solid and clean.
275,000 kilometers on it though - I think that converts to about 171,000 miles, so I expect she'll need a little tlc on the mechanical end. Runs good though. And the PO just kept throwing in extra little pieces.
I already have a nice one to drive though, so I'll probably just flip it and put the money into mine. Gotta figure out a reasonable price.

Scraped a patch of oil off the frame and wiped it off today. This is what the frame looks like under the oil.
And this is the truck after a quick bit of cleanup.
I really bought it 'cause I wanted some parts - but I just can't do that. Even the air works good. 2 brake lines on the back diff and a u-joint for a safety. It's just in too good of shape to rob parts off of.
I'm going to have to just put it on the market. I think 3000 is probably fair. What do you guys think?

Nice. That's one way to keep the underside rust free. LOL
