Will the tie rod ends of a F-250 fit?
If I change everything, drag link, center link (inner tie rod ends) and all, with the tie rod ends of a 3/4 ton fit my F-150? If so is there a strength advantage? I have oversized tires. I converted to a 4wd about a year ago. The tie rod ends that came from the donor truck were not original because they had grease alimites. They looked to be OK when I did the conversion but now they are clunking. Especially the tie rod ends are clunking. Anyone know? Anyone tried this?

You could go to a parts site like rockauto and see if the part #'s are the same.
I'm in the process of restoring the front end of my daily driver which is a 94 f-150.
The front end of my yard truck ( an 85 f-250 ) is in poor shape because plowing snow every year has been hard on it. It wouldn't be a problem to put decent used parts into it because it's not going over the road.
I'm fairly sure that the outer tie rod ends are the same because the part #'s matched up. Not so sure about the inner tie rod ends.

They are actually different with different part numbers. I really just need to go to the parts house that has both in stock and compare to see id the end piece is the same size for the knuckle.
