Hello everyone. I just spent the last hour looking through hundreds of threads and was not able to get a clear answer so I am asking it here.

I have a 1996 F-150 two wheel drive with stock chrome wheels. I am currently running 30x9.6r15s with absolutely no problems. If I go to 31x10.5r15s, will it rub anywhere? The 30x9.5s have become far less common than when i purchased my current tires 7 years ago. Thank you for all of your help.

With 31s you should have no problems rubbing. Im running 31s and I don't

Which chrome rims? The deep dish or rivet style rims. I had both and rubbed quite a bit with the deep dish, but with the rivet style rims I barely rub at full lock.

I didn't see that yours was 2 wheel drive. You might rub. I'm not sure

It'll rub the radius arms slightly. Nothing to worry about, I rode like that for 25k before I bought 15x10s for looks.

My 31x10.5x15 Bridgestone XTs with the wide rims have a light rub at full lock. It also costs about 1/2 mpg over my stock 235/75/15s but the increased handling capabilities make it well worth it.
