Default will 5.8 intake manifold bolt onto 5.0?

local shop has a 5.8 intake manifold with the throttle body on it and he said he'd give it to me because my throttle body has a water leak in the metal piping.. anyway, the question is can i bolt the 5.8 intake manifold up to my 5.0? thanks.

This doesn't answer your question but thought i'd throw this out there anyway. Does it get cold enough in Tennessee to warrant the throttle body de-icer? I live in Texas so in my case, the radiator and thermostat housing ports were plugged leaving both pipe fittings open on the TB. I figure there would be .01 MPG gain due to 1 HP increase for every 3°F in intake air temp. decrease and vise versa.

FoMoCo would rather not have people in colder climates have their TB ice up while open, bad things happen.

I don't have a V8 so I have never seen the coolant ports, but I would see if I could thread it for a nipple.
