Default Wierd Cruise Control Issue

I'm having a problem that I've never even heard of, and neither has anyone I know. My cruise control will not work if my headlights or marker lights are turned on. I just replaced my clockspring today, so this is the first time I'm ever using my cruise control or horn since I've had the truck.. I think its really strange that it works as long as my lights are off. If any of you could help me out, or have a similar issue, I could use your help. Thanks.

You have ground issues somewhere, I would inspect and clean them up and see where that goes. The cruise controls ground is over on the firewall on the passenger side. The lights are on on rad support on the drivers side.
