Where's the fuel Filter Located?

I. Had to spray cheap lube in it turn it back and for and get a little screwdrive into one side and get the junk out and spray it again with high power like with a little red tube on the cab and spay the lews junk out then repeat and keep trying to use the tool I have found that the tool with the handle works best and is strongest and Wat size r u usen if ur usen one and Wat year of truck

Cut the filter it self off and grab onto the nub that is left sticking out of each line and pull really hard the snap ring will break and the filter line will come out. Then go to autozone in there help section and buy the new snap ringd they were 3 bucks for both here in pa I just did the filter on both my trucks.
I have the tool with the handle similar to scissors except forms an o ring at end when closed if that is what you are referring to. Don't have the box or tool on me, will check size later. There is the plastic ones too that they sell that I haven't tried though. And it is a 96.
