Head light trouble
I have a 1991 f150 and I am having trouble with the high beams. If you turn the key on they come on then go off but when you start the truck the high beams come on and stay on. If I hit the dimmer switch on the floor the low beams cycle instead of the high beams and the indicator light in the dash stays on all the time. If anyone has any idea what I could try let me know. I have swapped the dimmer switch and tried to trace the wiring back but have had no luck so far. Thanks for any help

i would look at the connector itself. i had a similar issue with a 78 i was working on. i replaced the switch on the floor twice because i thought a got a defective one. it ended up being a corroded connection inside the plastic piece that connects to the switch. i cut the wires back as far as i could to get clean wire and put just female butt connectors on it and taped them off. worked great. hope it helps!

Hah thanks for making the connection for me...just bought a 91 F-150 and was trying to figure out how to turn the brights off as well as wondering what that weird foot button was for.
Thanks, found my low beams
