Put in a pair of 2 inch Crown Suspension lowering springs today. Also replaced the camber caster bushings with Moog 4 degree adjustable alignment bushings. Here is a photo... I'm still in the process of doing some body work so their is some primer in some areas of the vehicle. No tire rub, sway bar works as intended. Ordering some 255/60r15 tires tomorrow and going to the Ford Dealer for alignment on Thursday.

Swapped the steering wheel.

I think once I get the back lowered the extra 2" the stance will be exactly what I want. Then once funds allow I will be on the hunt for a set of first gen lightning wheels and new tires.
I totally forgot to update this thread when I got the truck done, here are some photos as it sits right now.

The wheels are 17x8 Centerline Trigon's and in the next week or two I will be swapping my current muffler for a single in/dual out version so I can have 2 tips exiting where the single tip currently is, lightning style.

I like EVERYTHING you've done to this truck. Even the wheels are awesome. If you don't mind me asking, how much were the wheels?

Thank you very much. I believe the wheels retail for about $275-300 each but I lucked out

I work at a performance parts place and we have had these wheels sitting on the shelf since 2002 so I worked out a deal with the boss, wheels for some overtime. So they only cost me a couple Saturdays of my time

I was going to say, those wheels haven't been in production in a long time!

Actually they still are being produced, even though they definitely have that '90's look to them (which suited my purposes perfectly)

There may be stock in some places, but I'm pretty sure centreline stopped making them.

They are still listed on Centerlines website as of this morning although they may have discontinued them without updating the site.

Sure wish I could be around when all you "High Boys" get to be so old that climbing into a truck is next to impossible! Those lowered trucks look real good to me. I can fall into, and climb out off those trucks! Fat has little to do with it... what you ole flat belly guys don't know yet is that all you do while your young will catch up with you 10-fold later in life. Oh, and the fat ladies remark, will, you just wait!!!

Great first post...

Also, just wait til you're in the condition where having a low vehicle is just as hard to get in and out of as a high one.
