Default Where can I mount two more speakers?

Just looking to see what some of you may have done, maybe I can copy it. I replaced my radio and the two door speakers and it sounds great, but it's all treble. I'd like to mount two 6x9's somewhere.

I know I could just find a spot and do it, but hoping someone has maybe some pics of a good spot and how they mounted them.

Those fit with your seat all the way back? I never thought there was enough room back there.

I built it to fit, but I do have the seat one notch forward because I like to be closer to the wheel.

Hmm, I'll have to look a little closer then. I had written that off because I thought it wasnt even close. Guess there is more room towards the bottom than I thought.

Those are two tens and two sixes. Notice the tens are near the bottom of the box because they needed the room behind so they didn't hit the box.

the door speaker should be Bass sound too...the factory ones sound pretty good...

What ones did you replace them with...?

I left mine the same but I am thinking of changing them to Polk Audio...you want ones with a high XMAS value...as thats the Bass value...

I wouldn't go with 6x9s if you want more bass. Those are more for mid tones. I'd do like like Sean and put a pair of 10s behind the seat. You should be able to find some shallow mount subs that fit well, but the box would likely have to be custom.

All my speakers are either busted or have bad/wrong wiring from the previous owner... I plan on getting them all replaced with some Pioneers and putting some sort of bass package in the back. I am lucky enough to have a ext. cab, it's more like a necessity being that I'll 6'4".

I replaced them with (2) 6" Pioneer 20WRMS/100WMAX speakers. They sound great and they have some bass, but mostly treble.

Well, I agree with what your saying. But i'm not looking for anything BOOMING, just a little more bass. This is an old junker and I only use it to take trash off and maybe to work when I can't ride the motorcycle. I probably spent too much $$$ just in what I did so far, but I hate having something that seems to need just a little more. It will bug the crap out of me until I do something about it. So I think 6x9's will do the trick for what i'm looking for.

Besides, I would need to wire in an amp to run 10's right?
