I grew up at the junkyard scraping scrap together and driving it . When I built my old blue truck , it was from mostly junk parts and scrap. Ford came out with the Raptor so my truck came to be the SCRAPtor. I use that username on about 90% of the forums I join.

If you google scraptor there is also a junk sculpture group that uses the name.

Used to work every job I could when I was younger, sometimes multiple jobs. They were all construction or some other type of hands on jobs. Just a play on words. Manual Labor---Manuel (hung around with the hispanic crowd) Labour (old English). And no I'm not hispanic, just worked with a lot of them over the years.

Neato thread. I made mine back when I was rebuilding my 65 mustang with my dad. It was on some mustang forum that I started using it. Kinda lame, but hey, it was a 65, and I was...er..sort of a mechanic at the time

Thank you for your service to our country! I went in 1958, retired as a CCMS in 1991 after tours in Desert Shield & desert Storm. God Bless
