dont make em like they used too!!

sounds like harbour freight is the consensus for a less than $100 jack that seems to last over 2 years...

thanx ALL for your input!

I use Harbor Freights aluminum low profile 4K floor jack on long, sparsely populated area road trips (occasionally on sale for $109.99). Otherwise, I call AAA & watch them use whatever jack they bring w/ them.

2o tns! WOW! That can also double as a house jack.. jacking up floor joists, beams, and what not.... I would defintely run into a minumum height problem with that jack as the van is on stock non-lifted suspension... looks good for taller trucks though...

Yea, thats one reason why I bought the jack. Regular floor jacks seem to not wanna lift the truck as high as I'd like to because of where my truck is lifted and all that jazz.

I am going to have to look to see what we have. My dad has had the jack for as long as I can remember. (10-15 years) We ahve never had any problems with it. We bought a goodyear brand jack from Sams club a couple years ago and it works pretty well. We got that one because our old one wouldn't fit under my old car.
