I have 2 6.5 inch Xplod door speakers, 2 6x9 Xplod speakers in the back in sealed boxes, a 45 watt max/~20 watt rms headunit (Sony CDX-GT09HP), and I just added in 2 big *** speakers from my Sony home stereo. It's a big ported box, with a 2.5 inch tweeter, 5 inch midrange and 5 inch sub, and I just hooked those into the same wires running power to the 6x9s. It sounds amazing to me, especially when you consider it's still only 180 watts max. On a good song my rear view will shake just a little, and that thing is rock solid steady

Alpine CDA-9883 Radio, Alpine 1000 Watt Amplifier, Rockford-Fosgate 12 Inch Shallow Mount Subwoofer, 2 Alpine Type R 6x6 Speakers in Front, 2 Alpine Type S 6x9 Speakers in Back. I give it a 9/10. It has great sound, just wish i would have got the 500 watt amp instead, i barely have to turn this amp up and it is very loud, but overall it sounds great.

a few people just cut a hole in the back for 6x9's, if you cut clean and reinforce it they can probably look stock.

I would also like to see what people have in their extended cabs. I need something in mine to get some bass but I hate looking at a sub box just sitting on the floor/seat.

i'm thinking about building a center console and putting my 2 10's downward facing so they are hidden then putting cupholders and stuff on it so it actually makes a useful console.

Thats what im planning on doing sometime this month.

Still debating on either 15's or 12's along with either kicker or JBL.

Ahhh decisions, anyways.

I'm going to take out my center cup holder thingy and build a ported box in its place. It's the only place I can think of putting subs and not looking ghetto
