Burped the air out of the cooling system. Hopefully MPGs will go up instead of staying the same after my thermostat change to 160 degree

So today was a not so good day. I had planned on replacing an ignition switch and lock cyl thinking it would solve my no spark issue. I struggled with the lock cyl and could not get the thing out. I drilled that little nub, but it still wouldn't come out.

Since I bought this truck at an auction I've had to bump start it. All of a sudden it had no spark when I got home. Now after I pulled the steering wheel and everything I can't even hear my fuel pummp prime anymore. Tried to bump start it to see if I could at least get spak but no luck. I could really use some guidance and a place to start again.

Depends on where you get it from. And mostly if your solenoid is on the fender well or on the starter (pop the hood look by the starter) if you see it Good News should run between $30-$40 at autozone. You might have to have them look up as far back as a 91 or 90 model to find it if that is the case.

Take the ignition control module off it can be tested for free at AutoZone. As for no fuel pump at all I would start testing wires in the ignition system of the vehicle. Make sure nothing is dead loose or something like that. Might see if the ECM has quit all together.

I finished putting the Leds in and installed rear signal mirror lights. Tomorrow I might tint the front reflectors and Saturday the new suspension goes in

Is there a way to test the ECM? I did pull it out a few times to check if the connector was getting power and ground to some areas. Also, I know I could hear my fuel pump before I started working on the key cyl. Is there any wire or something in the whole steering wheel removal process that could have came loose that powers the fuel pump?

Absolutly there is. That ignition is what starts everything. You just replaced it, so that would be the first place I would suspect. Faulty switch, something came loose. Lemme put it to you like this, when the weather was colder, I couldn't make a left turn signal and couldn't for the life of me figure it out until I just happened to adjust the steering column. In colder weather I cant make a left turn signal with my wheel tilted all the way down. I can live with it, fix it, or work around it. Given thats the case I am kinda afraid to mess with it.
