I love down time at work. Get to work on my stuff and get paid lol. I replaced all the wheel nuts, as I had 19mm in the front and 21mm in the rear for the longest time, so now they all match.

I also replaced a grease fitting on my tie rod, the other one wouldn't close off and the grease would squeeze out the opening. Did a quick examination underneath, greased the u-joints. Going to undercoat it in the next couple weeks.

Got a new sliding window gasket for my newly junkyard found sliding rear window today. Got home from work late but I wanted to change it out. So nice to have a sliding window now.

Remember, we (mostly 65mechanic) have determined the seal is different for a factory slider.

Yes. Definitely a different gasket. I ordered the one with out the chrome option for the factory sliding window from LMC truck. They sell an "aftermarket" OEM fit sliding window that I assume uses a different gasket than the factory one.

I took the original headliner out and found that it was cardboard with a thin sheet of foam and then the material, lol. What I ended up doing was just spraying the original material down with spray adhesive (Elmers from wallyworld crafts department) and smoothed the cammo material I precut over that. It seemed to hold pretty good in testing so I went for it. Time will tell how long it will last but it looks really good right now.

was pulling my trailer and 2200 lbs of scrap (found out after we hit the scrap yard) and my truck started making this tin can rattle sound, drove the last 15 miles home and got out, i think my cat blew out from the constant higher RPMs. the cat isn't getting nearly as hot and the truck runs better, i guess that problem solved its self lol.
