What did you do to your truck today?

It's a Canadian thing eh!
Got new neg/ground cables in now. Looking at the stock negative cable down to the frame thats split open then runs down to the starter seemed like a really dumb idea and is just asking for corrosion problems.
So I ran a new 4 ga cable to the starter, away from the engine to get away from the heat, running over the fender to the starter, then gave the starter its own 4 ga ground cable to a spot I cleaned on the frame a bit more protected from the elements.
Drove it around to get it warmed up, hit the drive through to get something to drink and got home a half hour later. Turned off the truck and started it right back up without the least bit of hesitation
Also noticed my alternator needle rides a bit higher than normal, probably because of the old crusty cables I took off.
