I’ve used Stahlbus oil drain valves on all the oil pans on each of my vehicles. Remove the cap, push and twist the drain hose and go have a beer while the oil drains.
They also make brake bleeder screws that have a check ball with a spring. Crack the fitting, put a vinyl hose on the bleeder tip to direct the fluid to a suitable receptacle and bleed the brakes.
Simple.

Restoring my dad's F150. It was used as a farm truck for many years, and because of that, a lot of stuff was left unattended. I'm slowing bringing her back around. Today I starrt the prep for the next round of repairs, which includes a new rear tank and new fuel pumps for each tank, Also will replace the fuel selector valve while we're in it. We'll be taking the bed off for the tank/pump job, so I'll be soaking down all the connectors with PB Blaster to see which ones are gonna be difficult to get out. The bed comes off next weekend! Lots of other stuff happening while that bed is off-frame, but that's for another thread!

My 94 was a farm truck I suspect from the muddy piney woods of E. Texas and it looks like the damn thing was buried in mud. I looked into renting a low power pressure washer but bought a 2100 PSI for the same price as a rental. Holy cow the crap that came off the underbody. Gonna have to do a second pass. Good luck with your project!
Update: When I replaced the WP I also replaced the thermostat and used the old outlet with a new gasket. When I put it all together and tested it there was a leak at the gasket to intake manifold. I cranked on the bolts but to no avail. I went ahead and ordered a new outlet and new gasket. I installed the packaged and cranked on the outlet bolts and the leak went away. You can see the lip is more pronounced on the new outlet and the thermostat stays in place easier during install. Anyway it works fine now and the new thermostat is dead nuts on the temp and the needle stays right on the "NO". It used to get to the middle of the temp range and back down, sort of erratic. All is good now!
