Drove it to work to make some more "truck funds" I love this body style and the 302 engine. List of mods ahead:
3"front 5" rear drop
Efi to carb swap using
High rise intake
Holley 600cfm
Edelbrock bypass fuel preasure regulator
Equal length shorty headers with catless 2 7/8 exhaust, x pipe and glass packs
MSD ignition
NGK iridium plugs
Dual timing chain set up
More aggressive cam
Talked to machine shop close by that has built some pretty impressive engines and qouted some head work for 1200 dollars still not sure if i wanna do that or get some of those trickflow heads
sometime diwn the line i want to E85 swap it too...has anyone done that swap to one of these engines?
Thats pretty much it besides a new tailgate which is this trucks only cosmetic flaw built in 92 and prettier than most everything on the road now 😎

That's the actual name of the "crankshaft pulley", which you mentioned a few posts ago.

Right - the harmonic balancer pulley.

Yeah, I know - I've rebuilt enough engines to be familiar with them.

You're saying the crankSHAFT pulley isn't on a shaft?

The harmonic balancer is pressed AND keyed onto the crankshaft. It could stay in-place for hundreds of miles with a loose bolt.

Installed a new Pioneer MVH-290BT radio, Pyle 6x8's, and Pyle 6.5's today. Around $150 for radio, speakers, Ford speaker adapters, wiring harness, radio puller, and a 32GB SD card. Definitely a massive improvement over the stock system. The 6x8's were direct fit. Just had to drill holes for the 6.5's. Worth it though for the added bass over the stock 5.25's.

Put my grill back in after re-painting it. Used some Rustoleum in the Black Stainless Steel color: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Ole...4558/300472131
Had some problems with the paint can sputtering a bit, but then I tried spraying with the can upside down and found it worked much better! The paint was a near perfect match for the original color and I'm pleased with how it turned out. Had a $5 coupon so the paint was only a couple of bucks which made it even better!

Looks great buddy! One of the best ways to give your truck a refreshed look. If you haven't painted the mirrors yet, put those on your list

I also just recently got new bumper plastic because I had some chunks missing - it's not OEM but for $40 shipped it looks and fits just like it. Hardest part was getting the old stuff off. The rear bumper unfortunately does not have an aftermarket cheap option.

Thanks for the info James! Looks like those are from Rock Auto, I just ordered 4 KYB Excel-G shocks (based on your and others' recommendation!) so hopefully I can get those put on next weekend and also try out my new floor jack! Have a few other things I want to get done this summer, we'll see how far I get on the list!

Great choice - they can't be beat for the price. I have had mine for 2 years now and they still feel new.
