This exactly. I'll gladly go down and get a nice 2017 F250 FX4 Superduty

Thanks for the support, guys! Actually, she's not that bad. She just knows my OCD tendencies which doesn't mix well with a 23 year old truck!

Installed a metal slider latch today. The OEM one had maybe 2 or 3 more uses left before breaking. Used the stock screws. Since they were a little too long, I cut up and drilled holes in and old plastic squeegee (~1/8 inch thick) to use as spacers on each side. Worked perfectly. Highly recommended and very cheap mod that should last forever.

Going carb for simplicity of maintenance, less complicated fuel system ( 2 fuel pumps, FPR, injectors in my 87) no more replacing sensors, more user control, neat and spacious engine bay, prefer the looks of a carby and flexibility with cam upgrades. They are my motivating reasons.

Well, over the last few days I have replaced the radiator hoses, heater hoses, did a flush and replaced with fresh Motorcraft coolant. I've also replaced the shocks with the Bilstein 4600's and put in new door striker bushings as mine were gone. Gradually working the list down....major item left is mid tank fuel pump.

Finally sent out my IC/PSOM and got it back within 2 days. Installed it and no more shift problems. I had ruled out the other stuff first then did the VSS readings before PSOM and monitored them when the tranny hard shifted and realized the PSOM VSS signal was bad going to PCM. Shifts real nice now after living with the problem for a very long time. I needed new tires to pass inspection and said if I put new tires on I will then keep the truck. Then I pressed ahead to figure out all problems to correct. All fluids changed:oil, tranny, diffs, transfer case, radiator. Never realized how bad it ran before until fixing the PSOM....
