What did you do to your truck today?

Nice
2 AAA calls later, got a new battery
1st guy tools weren't working so we couldn't figure out if it was my alternator or battery. Got that jumped and went to Costco. Turned truck off, and sure enough, wouldn't turn back on.
2nd guy comes, first thing he says "I can tell its the battery, it's leaking see it on top?" Get a jump and it's running.
Tested the alternator and and reading 14.330 and 14.340 no load and during a load.
Returned Battery to Costco. 14 months old under warranty. Paid $3.00 more than original.
I was really hoping it wasn't my alternator!!

Headers!
This weekend I pulled out the shorty headers and old single pipe exhaust and added full length Hooker Competition Headers and true dual exhaust. No cats and el cheapo summit mufflers. Tight fit but I didn't have to loosen motor mounts or anything like that. Sounds better, feels better and no more exhaust leaks!

Would you know, (I live in CA so I NEED Cats), if a "normal" guy with a toolbox, is something that can be done on a day with Headers and attach it to the Y pipe? I think I need to get the O2 hole blocked off cause there's an 02 sensor on the Y pipe. It'll probably be the biggest thing I can tackle so far. Do all the shorty headers fit the y-pipe if I get of course, the correct one for the vehicle (302 v8, 1995). Is there something I need to put in between the headers and the concave looking y-pipe ending?
Holy **** switching out a wiper motor on a beater 87 is no laughing matter. Having a really hard time with the link from the motor to the wiper assembly. Hard to get leverage to crack it.
