What did you do to your truck today?

Finally got my LED driving lights installed!!! Only had them since January.....
I used some 3" square aluminum tubing to make some brackets so I could mount them behind the bumper. Took the bumper off so it was easier to get to everything.
Here's some pics of the bracket trimmed to fit the contour of the bottom edge of the bumper:
And here's a pic of the holes for mounting to existing hole in bumper, and a hole for clearance of the rivet used to hold on the plastic deflector:
And here's a pic of one of the assemblies installed. I added one more 1/4-20 bolt for good luck:
Here's what they look like from the front:
I used a lighted rocker switch that just fit next to the headlight switch:
I still need to aim the lights and finish up the wiring, but I think they should provide a bit more to see by!

Stuck on jackstands, in the name of progress...
On my 91 F150 2wd I installed full length Pro Comp add-a-leaf, replaced pinion seal, and went to go change the axle seals but that F&#$@%@!! cross shaft bolt snapped in the diff carrier!!!
Hard to imagine this 200hp automatic transmission beast could cause that to happen!
Patiently awaiting delivery of the bolt extractor kit to finish this job and move onto the front end...

Ungeneer for broke stuff
Had a Bullet Bedliner installed. Same guy who originally developed Line-X before he sold that to DuPont. Bullet is at least equivalent to Line-X Premium with the same lifetime warranty. Had a lot of trucks and looked at a lot of liners before doing this and the Bullet liners were not quite as harshly textured, saw none with fade, Bullet doesn't require anti-fade treatments, and - - -
Line-X cost $650 for what Bullet Rockville MD charged $429.

Came with the switch and the wiring harness. Seemed to be pretty good quality!
I purchased a chinese radio in the spring, figured it would be ok, but i hated it, was a piece of ****, it worked but sounded like ***, so i ended up getting a new one, Pioneer, sounds so nice compared to that thing, didn't take very long to install as i had already made things aftermarket friendly.
On Sunday installed a new fan clutch, changed oil, lower radiator hose, coolant flush, and put in my new subwoofer and amp. My wife bought the truck while I was deployed and I never noticed that the center console was also a subwoofer box with a cheap subwoofer in it until about a month after driving it. I finally replaced the cheap stuff with something that actually sounds good.

New shoes for the old girl - 32x11.5x15 cooper discoverer AT/3 - got a killer cyber monday deal. They definitely rub the radius arms at full lock, but just barely, and no signs of bumper rubbing yet. If I had a valance or stock springs my guess is the bumper clearance would be a problem. So happy to be rid of all of the highway noise with the MT's.
Just a 'few' things completed.
Suspension - CC824 springs, 3 deg camber bushings, new balljoints, poly radius arm bushings, Procomp full length add a leaf, KYB shocks X4, new rubber brake hoses
Engine - new oil pan, oil pump, rear main seal, intake gaskets, exhaust manifolds, water pump, all new coolant hoses, plugs, Blue taylor plug wires
Driveline - pinion seal, diff lube changed, trans rear seal, trans fluid/filter.
And the broken pinion shaft bolt mentioned a few posts up I now have the extractor kit but haven't dealt with it yet.
The suspension work got me 3" rear, 2" front lift compared to sacked-out stock stuff. It isn't aligned yet, the front tires are slightly like this - \ /
Also discovered that the timing was previously set around 0 deg (I marked it) and last night setting it to 10 degrees it seems MUCH happier but haven't driven it other than backing out of the garage. I thought the truck was a total slug before.
Getting parked for the winter months, but feels good to put it away with all this stuff taken care of.
