I'm loving the finish on this stuff, an the fact it's not totally flat black.

Interesting! I'd like to do my bed with a spray liner. How resilient does that seem to be? Think it will hold up to normal work and sun?

Changed out my front shocks today. Pretty simple, and I went with some HD shocks from Rock. I still have the rear set on the way, but those alone sure made a huge difference!

I wouldn't use that stuff in your bed. You'll want monster liner or al's liner. I would do the tailgate handles and door handles gloss black and maybe some other pieces so it doesn't look like the whole truck was dipped in a can of matte black paint.

They make the same coating in OD green, an desert tan thinking of doing some accents in one of those colors. I think it would hold up fine to the sun, but unless you put like four or five coats on don't know how durable it would be. I have three on my inside of the tailgate I will post back to see how well it holds up.

I have a drop in plastic liner, but there was nothing on the tailgate. That's why I used the spray on stuff. Plus I wanted to see how it would look before I decided to use it on the rest of the truck.

Then doing a camo vinyl strip on the bottom.
Looks great, is that a rattle can job? :unsure

Just read that it is a rattle can job, I think I will paint my aluminum cap with that stuff. Can you buy that at Wal Mart and how much per can?

Yes sir rattle canned, an it was indeed from Walmart. If I remember correctly it was $6.49 a can. I used a can an 1/8 of a second to put three coats on the inside an two coats on the outside of my tailgate. They also have a professional grade of the same stuff but it was $11.99 a can. From what I have read online not much difference in the two in spray form. They also sell it in a paint can but I do not own a spray gun so I went with rattle cans.
