Already done. Except I put in a straight piece. I was tired of thinking about it being a possible problem.

I have to put pedal tree bushings in to solve my clutch pushrod bushing breakage issue so I'm swapping in a tilt/cruise column while I'm at it. My intermittent wipers aren't functioning properly at the moment so I decided to freshen up my multifunction switch tonight. Thanks to the tutorial it was simple. Hopefully it works as well as it sounds now.

Well I rebushed the pedal tree today........all day. I can see where some would choose to do the heim joint repair. I must say though my shifting issue is gone and the clutch is smooth as silk. I started out by removing the tree from my parts truck, dismantled it and put the new bushings in. Then I just swapped it out. The one from my parts truck must have been rebushed at some point because there was no wear in it's bushings. I could have used it as is but with this amount of labor it was going all new. I'd hate to tackle this with the steering column still in which BTW I also swapped in my tilt/cruise column. This laying on your back half in half out working between the seat and the dash isn't nearly as easy as it was when I was in my 30's ..... or 40's ....or even 50's! Added a 1/16" hole/cotter pin just outside the pushrod bushing just for security sake.

Installed transtemp gauge yesterday and headliner last weekend. Coming home from work my trans temp sat right at 140 degrees at night and around 70 outside doing 75 to 85 mph. 65 miles home from work. I would like to see 160 or 170 though. In town today I could only get it to 150 after stop and go traffic for 30 mins. I only have the factory external cooler, I guess it works.

Links? I just installed it and saw before where people install the sender in the pressure port, so I installed mine there. Ran the wire to the cab through the floor and up to the gauge. Gauge had five wires, light power and ground, and gauge power, ground and signal. I tapped into my dash lights for my light on the gauge so that it would dim with the rest of my lights. Its led but not any brighter than my gauge cluster, and it dims smoothly and even with the gauge cluster. I have an autometer gauge and I like it so frar.

I came home last night and had to replace the wiper motor. Looks like it would have been an easy job, but I was wrong.

33x12.50x15 BFG All Terrains. Will be installed in a week or two, because my camber bushings aren't in yet.
