Checked my compression, couldn't find what it should be though. In order from cylinder 1-8. 187,215,195,185,190,182,190,184.that 215 seems a little high.... I don't know what it should be though.

There isn't really a spec on what it should be. You have good compression, I just checked mine 165. They just have to be within a certain percentage of each other, I don't remember the number.

That would explain why I found so many different specs. But I always knew a 350 should be 150-180, so I was just wondering how it compared to stock. It's pretty good for an 18 year old engine though.

My opinion - If you take care of the engine it will outlast the vehicle. I've seen that several times with my vehicles.
