I used the Meguiars three step system with the ultimate compound, polish, and liquid wax. I used pads and the DA polisher for the compound and polish, but I waxed and buffed it out by hand. Seemed silly to use the DA polisher for that.
Yep, I got the HF one too! Does a great job but doesn't break the bank. I've done my truck and my son's Ranger with good results on each. I used Chemical Guys Scratch & Swirl remover followed by their White Light wax. I think I'll hit the hood again this summer since there are still a few scratches in it.

Turned out great! A DA polisher can work some serious voodoo on a paint job. Also, you can use it with the compound or polish on your glass.

Put a new oil filler cap on to replace the one that broke at the last oil change. Got a Motorcraft cap from Rock Auto for just under $9 delivered! And it has pretty yellow writing on it

And last week got new front wheel bearings as a result of a funny sound/feel that I didn't notice before. Took it to my mechanic and he said when they took the driver side spindle off the old bearings just fell out...

But now it drives great!!! Took up a bunch of front end play too!

Re-built my clutch and brake pedal assembly today with new bushings. Was starting to get a lot of play, which was causing the clutch to engage barely off of the floor. Now it feels brand new again.

Not a job I ever want to do again on a truck that still has a dash in it LOL.

Fixed a couple of interior electrical issues. The power door locks wouldn't work and I found a few wires in the door jam that had broken. Fixed those and now the door locks work. Also fixed the power windows. They worked, but only intermittently. Go down smooth and fast one minute, then nothing the next minute. Traced it back to a bad circuit breaker. RockAuto to the rescue and now they work great.

Pulled the headliner board out and spend a few hours scraping the foam off of the cardboard. Gonna glue on the new liner and throw it back on this weekend.

Being winter i don't do a whole lot, has me dreaming of a nice heated garage though. Did get an oil pressure gauge and some driving LED strips, contemplating on what to do with those, they actually fit nicely into the recession around the headlight and body, but i'm not sure what/where or even if i will use them really.

And i got a cup holder center console, it's nothing special but at least i can finally put my coffee somewhere more secure and i have an armrest.

Removed the bench seat '91 XLT and replaced it with bucket seats and a console from a '91 Bronco. Also replaced the bushings, pins and spacer in the shifter...such a big difference.
