On a TTB axle like these old 1/2 ton fords, When you raise the suspension with the moog springs it causes the wheels to have positive camber \---/

When people lower it it will cause negative camber /---\

There are camber bushings that will correct this. I would recommend taking it to a shop that knows how to align an old Ford TTB front end, tell them you need a full bushing alignment after installing some leveling springs. Expect to spend $150-200 for a full caster/camber/toe alignment.

I can't stress it enough - if you don't have someone professional do this, you run the risk of ruining your tires VERY quickly.

Yep, I just paid $240 which was high and he did a pretty crappy job even though I had heard good things. But the camber was good and Firestone was able to align everything else with fancy lasers.

Didn't do much to her today. I did it a new factory passenger side mirror. Mine has bubbley/flaky chrome so it's rusting and leaving rust trails down my door when it rains. Next on my list is a new seat recliner lever for my driver's seat but I'm waiting until next week to see if there is one in the junk yard before I order one.

as i previously stated i have only had my truck for about 2 months now. i purchased it for $500. it needed a new starter and a safety neutral switch. both of those have now been replaced. I tried to start her and nothing happened so i am thinking the battery is dead. Im going to take it to autozone and get it tested and charged. hopefully that is the only issue and it will start once i either get that done or get a new battery. my next project is the front brakes. the pedal goes to the floor with no resistance. Im going to check the fluids and the lines for leaks. maybe they just need to be bled but im not sure at this point.

Well good luck. I haven't done much brake work except the usual pads and rotors. Well I did replace the rear wheel cylinders last year but that's as far as I've dove into the brake system.

Today, I had the rare occasion to visit my local u pull it looking for various odds and ends. It was really not planned, just happened and the weather was nice to I went. Walking out, I passed the Buick section and remembered that my mother-in-law's car had a mercury switch light on the hood. So I commandeered one and added to the inside of the hood. It's not extremely bright, but it's better than nothing! As you see, I got the light and a few of the clips and as much of the wire as I could.
