Looking Good James!!!

I thought I was the only crazy one that had to be up at this awful hour to get to work on time!!! Of course today though, I'm working from home waiting for "Stormageddon" to hit!!!

Original stereo worked great and I loved the cassette deck look, but poor quality stereos in vehicles really bug me if I'm driving them every day. I finally broke down and replaced it with a new Kenwood media receiver and a couple of Kicker speakers for the doors. I'm not thumping, but the tone and output is certainly a lot better!

I replaced my TPS today; finally got around to it. Turns out the PO had worked on this before, as there wasn't a gasket on the throttle body at all. Fortunately I had ordered one, just in case. All went pretty good. I broke an old vacuum line from the EGR to the ignition coil sensor. Again, fortunately I had some silicon tubing around to replace that. Fired right up, but idled pretty low so I adjusted up the idle, and seems ok. No more CEL, no more revving up, so I'm happy!

Discovered that my passenger windshield wiper linkage fell off. It is more work getting to the linkage than the actual replacement of the grommets . No complaints , the grommet kit was a wopping $3.95 amazon .com

Couldn't get to work again today due to weather, so swapped out my gauge cluster for one with a tach! Incredibly easy, even for me!

Never understood why they would ever NOT put a tach in a truck with a manual transmisson. Looking good Clint.

Was probably just an upsell item at the time, they do what they can to extract more coin out of prospective customers.
